After a limited night of sleep, we gathered our belongings and started the second leg of our initial trip to arrive at our final destination – Tenri – Nara Prefecture – Japan.
This is where Kaz’s family runs an apartment like complex that houses followers of the Tenrikyo religion. They also aid travellers, so Joe and I were welcomed with open arms. Tenri has a population of nearly 70,000 people, which you wouldn’t think is that much but for such a small land area it’s quite a few people.
It is an amazing place to be. Great people, complex food (that I’m getting used to) and will be called home for the next two and a half weeks.
